Also in the case when is big space between the roof and ceiling and the use of roof Windows would not be technicaly possible, you can use tubus skylights Sunpipe. Basic lightning set of tubus skylight is created by special dome on the roof of the building, further by system of pipe with inner reflective surface, where the one part at the option for pitched roof is adjustable up to 30°. The light is directed into the room by difusor, which thanks to its construction difuses the light into the whole part of lightened space.

If you need to use the tubus skylight Sunpipe also during deficiency of sun beams (in dusk or at night), there is a possibility to install in bellow part of system an universal lightning source. Then by mere switch of choose the skylight into the common interior light.

Tubus skylights Sunpipe® – basic information

Tubus skylights Sunpipe are supllied in two basic sets:

set for pitched roof – the length of set 1,5m, include 1pcs of joint and 2 pcs of part 61 cm
set for flat roof . The length of the set 0,6m include only the part 61 cm. It doesn’t include the joint

To any set is possible to use extending part for pipe in the length 61 cm.

Joints for tubus skylight Sunpipe are produced in two modifications, as a two-segment with the inclination up to 30° and free-segment with the inclination up to 45°. In the basic set for piched roof is supllied a joint 30°, which in the most of cases is sufficient for instalation into the pitched roofs.

Extension parts and joints, which are not part of basic set are buy in adittion as accessories.

Losses in the system of tubus skylights Sunpipe®

The losses in the system are directly proportional to the length of the piplines and the number of joints used in the tubus skylights.

Losses by reflection are only 2%, therefore the efficiency of the system is incredible 98%!!!

Common losses on the length is approximately 6%/m. Losses in the joint adjusted on the 30° is 12%/m.
